Rate, comment, have your say: this is how the Roth mobility plan is taking shape
Since March 2025, we have been working with the town of Roth to develop a city-wide mobility plan. To this end, we have compiled a wealth of background material, including over 1,000 comments from residents, a detailed household survey, strengths and weaknesses analyses, future scenarios and a mission statement – including detailed principles and key objectives – adopted by the City Council in March 2026.
Our shared goal: transport planning that is safe, sustainable, accessible and suitable for everyday use.
On 16 July 2026, we took the next step together with around 45 residents and representatives from politics and the wider community. The focus of the evening was on nearly 70 detailed measures for walking and cycling, public transport, quality of life, communication and the management of motor vehicle traffic: each presented as a fact sheet with a brief description, an impact assessment and a cost estimate. The participants worked diligently to highlight, rate and comment on the proposals, and put forward around ten new ideas of their own. The result is not a rough list of endorsements, but detailed feedback that will be incorporated directly into the further development of the concept.
